Philip Doyle
Philip is a dedicated medical doctor and accomplished rower, having graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2018 with a medical degree and a first-class honors in medical sciences. His rowing journey began in 2014 when he joined Queen’s Boat Club during his second year of university, leading him to become a member of the Irish rowing team after graduation.
Balancing his time between his medical career and rowing with the national team, Philip competes in the men’s double sculls. His impressive accomplishments include multiple World Cup medals, and he notably secured a silver medal at the 2019 World Championships, which qualified him for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Most recently, Philip brought home gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics, solidifying his status as a top athlete in the sport.
