Norah patten
Dr. Norah Patten is an aeronautical engineer and bioastronautics researcher with the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences (IIAS). In June 2024, Norah was announced as part of the IIAS-02 crew which will fly on a research spaceflight with Virgin Galactic. IIAS-02 will be her first spaceflight and will make her the first Irish astronaut.
Through her popular Instagram page, Norah shares an immersive story of her journey to space and many fun interactions along the way. Norah is a popular communicator and regularly features on television and radio. She has worked with many brands over the years, from beauty to technology. Norah lives in Dublin.
