LEON DIOP
Leon is an award winning author, podcast host and entrepreneur from Tallaght, Dublin. He is about all things inclusion and helping us all to build a connected, healthy, enjoyable and safer world. He is the founder of Black and Irish, an advocacy organisation for the black and mixed race community in Ireland. He was selected as one of the first people from Ireland to be a European leader for the Obama Foundation.
Leon Loves to make sure that people are celebrated and runs the Black and Irish Gala Awards at the end of each year. He has also MC'd events for the President of Ireland at Aras An Uachtaran, spoken on panels with former president Mary Robinson and run social media campaigns to help create a more progressive society. He is a chess fanatic, loves to celebrate Irish music, a fan of the arts and a keen Ireland rugby supporter. He creates content with a flair of humour and honesty, often alongside his trusty sidekick pug Oreo.
